We're
now accepting entries for the 2006 Texas Film Festival.
Submissions must be postmarked by January
1, 2006.
We have
the following categories:
Feature Narrative
Short Narrative
Feature Documentary
Short Documentary
Features are usually considered over 40 minutes in length.
What the TxFF Can Take for Screeners:
NTSC VHS or DVD region 1
What
the TxFF Can Screen if Selected:
35mm, 16mm, DVD region 1, NTSC VHS, Beta, BetaCam (not DigiBeta)
TxFF does not take
trailers or works in progress.
Please also include a Press Kit with your submission. (See below)
Entering into the TxFF, you are hereby granting this work
for promotional purposes. (This is not a contract for distribution
nor does it guarantee acceptance into this festival.) If for any
reason, circumstances prevent you from showing your film at our
festival, it is imperative that you let us know as soon as possible.

Press Kits
These help to describe your project and the work around it. We use
it mainly for marketing. It does not bear weight to your selection,
but we need this available ASAP.
REQUIRED:
- high-resolution photo to represent your film (digital or at least
4x6)
- 2-3 Summaries of your film
- Main Cast & Crew
- Contact Info (if it's different from the info on the Call for
Entries form)
RECOMMENDED:
- Extra photos
- Descriptions of the cast (a mini-resume of their previous work)
- Descriptions of the filmmakers
- Details about the production itself |
